Vinay, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I did my undergraduate degree in Law from India; I moved to Dundee, Scotland a year and a half ago to pursue my LLM, having successfully completed the same. Now, I’m at Fuse Legal to kick start my legal career in the right direction. Everything that has happened in the last two years has been a whirlwind of a journey.
I do like to read a good book, and I would someday want to run a restaurant when and if I choose to hang up boots in the legal field (I love to cook).
I do play cricket and filed hockey as my other favourite pastime.
What are you enjoying most about your role?
The role has brought the best out of me in terms of instilling a whole lot of sense of responsibility. I have improved my ability to multitask. There is a whole lot of room to grow, which is the biggest motivator to pull my socks up and soak up all that is there to learn.
What have you found to be the biggest challenge?
The constant change in pace at which work is done. This change in pace has improved my general outlook of functioning on a day-to-day basis. The fact that I got to work on claims almost immediately was a huge surprise and seemed like a challenge at first, but, as the days have progressed, I’ve quite learnt to handle this responsibility. I seem to be enjoying it quite a lot.
What do you enjoy the most about working at Fuse?
The room for growth is tremendous. To be honest, it doesn’t feel like I’ve been at the role for more than a month, the whole team and the extended fuse family has made me feel welcome at all points of time. The work culture is brilliant, and the quality of work done, makes me just want to up my game at all points of time.
